Aku traps Jack in a haunted cemetery, forcing him to fight an endless army of undead warriors. Capturing Jack's sword, Aku moves in for the kill but is surprised to learn that the sword cannot be used by evil to harm the innocent.
 

 
 
 
 
 
 
At the fork in the road, Jack tosses a stick in the air to determine which way to go, similar to the opening scene from Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo

Jack's line "I have a bad feeling about this" is a common phrase spoken by various characters in George Lucas' Star Wars films


 		 The witch hag that possesses Jack's sword shouts "I will eat your soul!" a line similar to "I'll swallow your soul!" spoken by the possessed Henrietta in Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn
While battling Jack in the cemetery, Aku takes on several different forms:

- Scorpion
- Dragon
- Mantis
- Amorphous Shape
- Rat
 

Jeremy's Review

A great episode steeped in the horror genre and one of the few episodes in which Jack and Aku battle face to face. The atmosphere established in the first half is superbly spooky. Unfortunately, the episode abandons its horror elements once Aku arrives in the cemetery to fight Jack. B+
