In Andromeda, a ruined robot city, Jack
takes control of an ancient mechanical samurai and battles Mondo-bot,
the city's mad former protector.

The episode is
strongly influenced by mecha anime and Japanese kaiju films
in which giant robots and monsters typically do battle in
cities |

|
The Mondo-bot
resembles Samus Aran from Nintendo's Metroid video
games |

Jeremy's Review |
|
A neat episode with
lots of great robot action though not much else. Notably, the second
half of the episode is completely devoid of dialogue. The sequence
in which the Mondo-bot attempts to blow away the samurai mech with
various weapons is amusingly though tends to drag on for a
little too long. B
