Jack consults an ill-tempered hermit to find a way to travel back in time. The hermit is Aku in disguise, using Jack to collect a set of ancient mystical weapons protected by deadly traps.

The hooded woman (credited as a "narc") who directs Jack to the hermit resembles the waitress from Episode II

The Eye of Cronus and Fists of Might and Ability, are inspired by Greek mythology

Aku takes on the forms of a school of fish and a frog to escape destruction

Jeremy's Review

A solid episode overall made cooler with Titan name-dropping. It's pretty obvious the hermit was Aku from the get-go though nice to see Jack wise up to Aku's deceptive antics for once. The traps are inspired and the action is fantastic as always. B+
