In the jungle, Jack encounters an
incredibly agile bearded
man who was raised by a peaceful tribe of monkeys. Jack teaches the
monkeys
how to defend themselves from an aggressive tribe of food-stealing gorillas
while the monkeys teach Jack how to "jump good."

|
|

|
To learn how to
"jump good," a skill similar to qing gong from Chinese
wuxia fiction, Jack subjects himself to an
intense training routine with heavy stones and a giant
boulder strapped to his body |

|
The
three wise monkeys are visually referenced after Jack
climbs a vine that snaps during his training |

Jeremy's Review |
|
Featuring striking
animation and a plot that shifts quickly from silly to epic, this
episode perfectly exemplifies what the show is all about.
Jack's first "good jump" and the climatic gorilla
beat-down are among the most satisfying moments of the series.
